What are the limits for the oscillation speed inside the furnace for the first speed, middle speed and also the last speed?
And what are the correct values of these speeds for 4,5 mm glass?

There are no real limits for the oscillation speed in furnace. But to get the best possible quality of the tempered glass, there are some basic rules that you should keep in mind.

  • The first speed is usually around 50 mm/s
  • The middle speed should be between 75−100 mm/s
  • The last speed should be around 100−200 mm/s, depending on the glass thickness
  • The speed distribution is usually about 60−75%, also depending on the glass thickness. The thinner glass has the higher value.
