Also, comparing to normal float glass, higher cooling pressure is usually needed for low-iron glass. This is explained by its lower heat radiation from the glass.<\/p>\n<h4>What is better in order to save energy costs \u2013 to start the furnace after being turned off or from the sleep mode?<\/h4>\n<p>Using the sleep mode or turning the furnace off depends on the stop time. If you stop the production for two days or for the weekend, then the sleep mode is better.
