La raz\u00f3n principal del crecimiento es la creciente demanda de seguridad. Cada vez m\u00e1s regulaciones requieren productos m\u00e1s seguros, y la cantidad de aplicaciones que requieren vidrio de seguridad tambi\u00e9n est\u00e1 en auge. Al mismo tiempo, los arquitectos buscan maximizar la transparencia de sus edificios y hacer que sus dise\u00f1os sean \u00fanicos.<\/p>\n<p>Mayor demanda de laminados de alta resistencia<\/p>\n<p>Uno de los productos cada vez m\u00e1s requeridos por el mercado es el laminado de alta resistencia\/estructural. Originalmente, esta demanda comenz\u00f3 con aplicaciones especiales, como laminados estructurales (que pueden reemplazar estructuras de carga como pilares en edificios, quiz\u00e1s el ejemplo m\u00e1s famoso sea la Apple Store en Nueva York) y acristalamientos resistentes a huracanes. Pero con las crecientes demandas de seguridad de los productos, los laminados de alta resistencia tambi\u00e9n se est\u00e1n abriendo camino r\u00e1pidamente hacia aplicaciones tradicionales como las barandillas.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Si bien este tipo de laminados ofrece a menudo un rendimiento superior para la aplicaci\u00f3n, tambi\u00e9n son m\u00e1s complejos de procesar. Esto conduce a una situaci\u00f3n en la que los procesadores de vidrio se enfrentan a la demanda de producir estos productos en cantidades cada vez mayores, mientras luchan con el rendimiento y la capacidad. Cuando esto se combina con el hecho de que las capas intermedias estructurales suelen ser m\u00e1s caras que las tradicionales, es de suma importancia poder garantizar un alto rendimiento.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h4><strong>Ventana de operaci\u00f3n estrecha que genera burbujas de aire<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Una ventana operativa estrecha (rango de temperatura de proceso \u00f3ptima) es la raz\u00f3n principal de estas dificultades. En general, cuanto m\u00e1s complejo es el laminado en t\u00e9rminos de tama\u00f1o, forma, tipo de vidrio o composici\u00f3n del laminado, m\u00e1s estrecho es el rango de temperatura \u00f3ptima para el proceso. Como resultado, la calidad puede verse afectada.<\/p>\n<p>Uno de los problemas de calidad m\u00e1s comunes que se observan en el proceso de laminado son las burbujas en el extremo posterior del laminado. En la pr\u00e1ctica, lo que significan las burbujas es que queda demasiado aire dentro del laminado. Si bien puede haber m\u00faltiples razones que est\u00e1n causando esto, con los laminados de alta resistencia, la raz\u00f3n suele ser el sobrecalentamiento de las \u00e1reas de los bordes del laminado. El mismo fen\u00f3meno ocurre independientemente del tipo de calentamiento utilizado y ocurre en todos los bordes del laminado (delantero, izquierdo, derecho y trasero).
