However, with beveled glass, it is important to take special care of the heating profile and also place the beveled side of the glass so that it faces the rollers.<\/p>\n<h4>Why can&#8217;t I mix different colors in the same load?<\/h4>\n<p>We don\u2019t recommend mixing different colors in the same load because different colors have different heating absorption. This affects the heating time and final quality of the tempered glass.<\/p>\n<h4>Can we update our continuous line to be able to temper 2 mm glass?<\/h4>\n<p>Yes, it is possible to add an air flotation section to a continuous tempering furnace to be able to temper 2 mm glass. Glass of 2 mm needs a higher temperature than thicker glasses, so this is why the air flotation section is needed.
